The areas top baseball school is proud to present Washington DC's most exciting winter baseball event, the Diamond Skills Baseball All-American Instructional Camp.
This camp is for high school baseball players interested in pursuing collegiate and professional baseball opportunities.
Infield / Outfield Camp
Infielders will have a four week fundamental progression. This includes proper fielding footwork on each different type of groundballs (regular, slow roller, backhand, forehand and barehand) and the proper footwork on throws to first base. Players will also learn the proper technique on turning double plays from specific positions and on different types of ground balls. Infielders will take live ground balls making throws to first base and turning double plays each week.
Outfielders will have a four week fundamental progression which includes throwing footwork on ground balls and fly balls, drop steps, angles of pursuit and playing balls near the wall. Outfielders will also make live throws to the bases each week.
Hitting: All players will also go through a four week hitting program which features live batting practice in our two (2) drop down batting cages, side toss, batting tee work, underhand front toss and wall drills.

Pitching / Catching
Pitchers will have the opportunity to learn from some of the top collegiate and professional instructors in the country. In addition to live bullpen sessions, pitchers will be exposed to conditioning methods, mechanics, pitchers fielding practice (PFP) and weekly hitting stations with college and professional coaches.
Catchers will work alongside their pitching counterparts. Under the instruction of experienced college and professional catching instructors, each catcher will train in all aspects of their position: catching live bullpens, blocking, framing and throwing. In addition, catchers will experience a four week fundamental progression where they will receive instruction from some of the nation’s top hitting instructors.
